Eva Kynaston, a Penn State-bound senior at North Allegheny High and a member of four Pennsylvania Class AAA state championship teams as part of the program's run of six in a row, joins DyeStat editor Erik Boal to discuss competing Nov. 25 in the girls championship race at the Nike Northeast Regional at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, N.Y. Kynaston helped Wexford Flats win the NXR Northeast title last season, earning eighth place as the group had five scorers in the top 15 to advance to Nike Cross Nationals for the first time, becoming the third girls program from Pennsylvania along with Pennsbury and Unionville to qualify to compete in Oregon. Kynaston will be joined by fellow senior Erin McGoey, Wren Kucler, Robin Kucler, Camille Swirsding, Kendall Lucas and Elizabeth Pizon, as Wexford Flats seeks back-to-back NXN berths to race Dec. 2 in Portland, after finishing 15th place last year at Glendoveer Golf Course.
